devnet preview — all data is replay

Read this the way it is written: as the list of ways you can lose time or money here. If a risk materializes that this page did not name, that is our failure — report it.

Where the project actually is

There is no public network. Every number on this site is replayed from recorded devnet activity and labeled as such. No external audit has been performed — the first one gates going public. Until then, treat everything here as software under construction whose claims you can check in the repository, not as infrastructure to depend on.

Keys are self-custody

Signing is local. That means no one can spend for you — and no one can recover for you. Lose the key, lose the account; there is no reset flow, no support ticket, no admin override. Devnet keys are for devnet only: never give a devnet key value, and never paste a seed that holds value anywhere.

Devnets reset

Development chains restart and their state vanishes — balances, leases, history. When the public devnet exists, a reset will be announced and the console will detect and say so rather than silently zeroing. Anything you hold on a devnet should be worth exactly nothing.

Early markets are thin

A young book has few orders, and thin books clear at volatile prices. The benchmark index trims outliers and weights by volume, but no method makes a thin market thick. Do not treat early prints as a deep market's price — the depth is visible on every chart; look at it before you lean on the number.

Providers can fail you

A provider can miss a deadline or deliver garbage. The protocol's answer is mechanical — slashing, the fixed clawback order, your refund from escrow and bond — but it runs on the challenge window's clock, not yours. Between fault and resolution your funds are where the rules hold them. The failure path with real numbers is traced on The protocol.

Exit can be frozen; money cannot be taken

Governance can pause withdrawals indefinitely, and a paused withdrawal can be voided back to its owner. No control — alone or composed — can move your money anywhere except back to you, and settlement itself has no switch at all. But frozen exit is a real state you can be in, and we said it first on Emergency controls.

Dependencies we do not control

The settlement asset is USDC, whose issuer holds a freeze function. Deposits and withdrawals cross the Base bridge. The full dependency list, one honest line each, is the off-switch list.
